We offer a fee-based comprehensive financial planning service aimed at helping clients achieve and maintain their desired lifestyle. An initial meeting at our offices is available without charge. The purpose of such a meeting is to enable us to give you a clear understanding of the service we provide and to help you decide whether or not we would be the right firm to advise you on financial planning and investment matters over the years ahead.
Paul Parr - Managing Director
Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Open University majoring in Economics and has a particular interest in Macro economics. He also holds the Chartered Insurance Financial Planning Certificate and the specialist pension income drawdown qualification.
Paul was trained at Norwich Union Insurance Group working in the Actuarial, Investment and Pensions legal department. In 1976 he joined Friar Gate Insurance Services Ltd as associate director and was appointed a director in 1977 and Managing Director in 1985. In 1988 he moved to Citicorp Financial Consultants Ltd, in the City of London, as Managing Director with responsibility for the UK operation. In 1991 Paul set up Paul Parr & Associates in 1991 and in December 2006 changed the name to PPA Financial Planning Ltd.

Janet Parr - Director
Janet holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Financial Planning Certificate.
Janet was trained at Eagle Star and Norwich Union in pensions’ administration. She left Nelson Hurst Ltd in 1995 to join Paul Parr & Associates and is responsible for all administration of the business.
